Please be advised of the following precautions:
- All who enter the County cooling centers will be subject to a COVID-19 screening process.
- All cooling centers will adhere to guidelines from the state Department of Public Health and will be set up to maintain social distancing. Those entering the stations will be required to wear face coverings.
Tips for staying safe while sheltering:
Wildfires, earthquakes, power shutoffs and other emergencies can strike at any time, including during the pandemic. Though emergency sheltering presents many challenges, even under normal circumstances, this information can ensure you find a safe place to stay while maintaining practices that decrease exposure to COVID-19.
