It is important for families of all shapes and sizes to spend some time discussing and planning what to do in different types of emergency situations. This presentation’s objective is to get people started on a solid foundational plan for their family (the people they live with). Key topics for this presentation will be basic outline for planning, overview of evacuation planning, important factors in deciding meeting locations, and communicating in an emergency. The local Law Enforcement Agency will be on hand to discuss evacuation guidance. Attendees will also learn how to have a family emergency exercise. Participants will leave with their plan started, and a plan to finish it!
