What should I do if I do not receive the alert?

  1. Double check your account settings in SoCoAlert making sure your address and phone number are correct.
  2. If you are currently in an active data session (browsing the Internet) or on a phone call, you will not receive the alert until you complete your data session or phone call.
  3. If your phone is turned off, you will not receive the Test message.
  4. If you disabled the emergency alerts in the Notification Settings of your phone, you will not get the message. It is encouraged to always have these potentially life-saving alerts turned on.
