Gavin Newsom proclaimed a state of emergency in Sonoma County due to drought conditions in the Russian River watershed. Since the Governor’s proclamation, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors also proclaimed a drought emergency and all regional water suppliers have implemented mandatory reductions from their customers.
